INDICATIONS
Babuline is invaluable for indigestion, flatulence and colic in
infants. Their use is particularly indicated in digestive disorders are
mainly due to the small quantities of air which babies swallow while
feeding. This air collects as a bubble in the stomach and produces discomfort
and colic pains if not dispersed. A few drops of Babuline given immediately
after a feed will result in a prompt eructation and consequent comfort to
the child. Indigestion in children is frequently caused by curd formation in
the stomach. Some, children particularly bottle-fed infants, vomit large hard
curds. It is assumed that by displacing the calcium with sodium in the curds
from its combination with casein Calcium caseinate) they produce curds which
are softer & smaller in size. |

DOSAGE
Preferably administer Babuline after feeds as under:

1 month to 6 months- |
1 teaspoonful twice or thrice a day after
feeding |

6 months to 1 year- |
2 teaspoonfuls 3-4 times a day |
|
1 year to 2 years |
2 to 3 teaspoonfuls 3-4 times a day |
|
3 years to adults- |
3 to 4 teaspoonfuls 3-4 times a day |
Babuline should be given diluted with a little milk or water if
necessary, and the bottle should be carefully recorked after use and kept in
a cool dark place, so that the essential oils do not turn yellow.
